Peter Jongkind

After his psychology studies in Amsterdam and some years of work in the field Peter worked for five years as a researcher at the Vrije Universiteit (Free University) of Amsterdam.
In the 80s he joined the Ministry of Finance and the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration (DTCA) where he was responsible for major business change programs such as the introduction of intranet and internet and the modernization of the revenue collection. He also worked as deputy director of the training and communication department of the DTCA.
From 2011 Peter has been supporting national tax administrations in modernization projects in different countries such as Mozambique, Ghana, Greece, and Peru.
Since January 2016 he has been working as a program director local taxes for international organizations to develop and implement a collection led local tax methodology and tooling to improve tax revenues and public services.
Currently, Peter is the Senior Tax & Revenue Advisor.
